East China Educational Foundation

The East China Educational Foundation is an endowment fund set up through and managed by the Community Foundation of St. Clair County to benefit East China School District students. The endowment fund is for enrichment programs such as, after-school activities, special science and math events, fine arts programs or any project that will enhance the education of ECSD students. The East China Educational Foundation's fund is an investment in the future of our children.

Fall Grants:
1. Due -- Friday, October 9, 2014
2. Wednesday, October 15, 2014 subcommittee/review
3. Award at October 27, 2014 Board meeting.

Spring Grants:
1. Due -- Friday, February 5, 2014
2. Wednesday, February 11, 2014 subcommittee/review
3. Award at February 23, 2015 Board meeting.

Meeting Dates 2014-2015 @ 5:30 p.m.

October 25, 2014 Zombie Run; starts at SCMS
January 26, 2015
February 21, 2015 Chili-Heart 5k Run; starts at SCMS
March 23, 2015
May 18, 2015

Note: All meetings will be held at the Administrative Building in Conference Room #1

Please note: Donors are eligible to receive a tax credit on Michigan income taxes. Married couples contributing $400 are eligible to receive the maximum $200 state tax credit and a deduction for federal income tax purposes. For a married couple in the 25% tax bracket, the cost of a $400 donation is about $135.
