If your child needs medication administered during school hours you may access the ‘Request to Administer Medication’ form at http://www.eastchinaschools.org/. Click on ‘Parent Resources’, then ‘Forms’, then ‘Enrollment’. You and your doctor will need to complete the form and return it to the school office along with the prescribed medication in the original container appropriately labeled by the pharmacy. Transporting medication to and from school has to be done by the parent, or an adult approved by the parent. Parents are encouraged to give medication before or after school hours, however, parents are welcome to come to the school and administer medication to their child. Students may not self-medicate or use over-the-counter medications including cough drops, cough syrup, and aspirin. All medication will be kept in the office.
School Safety Drills
Parking Lot Safety
Please drive slowly and follow the arrows in the parking lot. All drivers need to slow down and watch for students at all times. Please do not park past the handicapped spaces. This area is designated for staff so the flow of the traffic is good for parents who are dropping off students. Thank you for helping to keep Belle River students safe!
Please make sure that your child’s shoes are appropriate for playground use. Open toed sandals, backless shoes, platform or high heeled shoes are not appropriate for the playground and can cause serious injuries while a child is on the playground equipment. Also, socks must be worn with all shoes. This will help to prevent the woodchips from leaving a sliver in a child’s foot or toe.
